9.4 Supply voltage
The TIM40 module must be operated with a separated extra‐low voltage (sup
ply voltage 18 to 30 V DC). The supply voltage lead must be no more than 3 m
long. Connecting to a direct voltage network in accordance with EN 61326 is
not permitted. Instead, use a power pack that can be e.g. mounted together
with the TIM40 in the control cabinet.
The supply voltage is electrically isolated from signal outputs and calibration
signal inputs. Connect a separated extra‐low voltage of 18 V to 30 V to Pin 1
and Pin 2 of terminal X1.
If a cable shield is present, apply the shield to the ground ( ) of input X3.
