The TIM40 control bits must be explicitly enabled in the Profibus parameteriza
tion.
Notes for Simatic S7 PLC users:
S To transmit consistent data, you must use the special function blocks
SFC14 to read and SFC15 to write.
S With S7 3xx, a maximum of 32 bytes of consistent data can be transmitted.
The TIM40 allows the following cyclic data to be transferred via Profibus DP:
