Note: I
This sensor does not represent or replace the oil level check before each engine start.
CAUTION! A
Running the engine with low oil levels can cause serious engine damage.
The manufacturer does not accept liability for damage caused by low oil levels in
the engine.
HIGHER ALTITUDES
Engines operating at higher altitudes (above 1,600 metres above sea level) require
readjustment. At higher altitudes, the mixture is supersaturated and as a result, there is
a loss of power and higher fuel consumption. Contact an authorised service centre for more
information. Do not attempt the modifications yourself.
ENGINE PRE-OPERATION CHECK
For your safety, and to maximize the service life of your equipment, it is very important
to take a few moments to check the engine condition before operating.
CHECK:
- fuel level
- oil levels (engine, gear, loss lubrication, according to the machine)
- air cleaner (if equipped)
- correct fitting of spark plug end.
- cleanness of controls (switches, handles)
- safety and protective equipment
- device, engine-powered tool.
Note: I
If you have any concerns, do not start the machine and ask our authorised centre for
professional help!
CAUTION! A
Be sure to take care of any problem you find, or have authorized service dealer to
correct it, before you operate the engine. Improper maintenance to this engine, or
failure to correct a problem before operation, can cause malfunction in which you
can be seriously hurt or killed.
WHY THE SAFETY DEVICES CUT IN
The safety devices work in two ways:
- they prevent the engine from starting if all the safety requirements have not been met;
- they stop the engine if even just one of the safety requirements is lacking.
A. To start the engine, it is necessary that:
- that the gearbox is in the „neutral“ position
- the blades must be disengaged
