WARNING! B
When the machine is in movement, keep your foot off the pedal. Do not keep
the pedal half way of clutch engagement or disengagement, as this can cause
overheating and damage the transmission belt.
BRAKE
With the machine moving,press the pedal to quickly slow down or stop the machine The brake
operates on the rear wheels.
CLUTCH
The same brake pedal, in the top part of its stroke, works as a clutch pedal for machine movement.
With the pedal released, the clutch is completely engaged and transmits movement to the reart
wheels. Speed depends on which gear has been engaged.
PARKING BRAKE (fig. 27A)
With machine stopped
1. Keep the pedal pressed.
2. Pull the parking brake locks on the instrument panel pillar and release the brake pedal.
3. Depress the brake pedal fully to release the brake.
Note: I
The motor can only be started when the parking brake is active.
GEARSHIFT LEVER (fig. 28A)
Selects machine forward/reverse movement.
This lever has 6 positions, corresponding to 4 forward gears 1-2-3-4, neutral position „N“ and
reverse gear „R“.
To change from one gear to another, stop, depress the "brake / clutch" pedal to the middle or
lower stroke position and move the shift lever to the desired gear.
CAUTION! A
Only engage the reverse gear when the machine is stoped.
OPERATION
The instructions in this manual apply under normal operating conditions. If you operate
your engine under severe conditions, such as permanent high load, high temperature
or unusually large humidity or dust, contact your service on the recommendations
applicable to your individual needs and the way of using the machine in your case.
STARTING
CAUTION! A
The engine must be started in an open or well-ventilated area! ALWAYS REMEMBER
THAT EXHAUST GASES ARE TOXIC!
