2. Lower the engine speed;
3. Move to the desired location;
4. Stop moving forward;
5. Engage the parking brake on slopes;
6. Pull out the lever (if equipped) and tip up the grass-catcher to empty it (fig. 29).
7. Close the grass-catcher so that it hooks onto the pawl.
CLEANING THE COLLECTION DUCT

Only clean when the engine is switched off and secured against unintentional start-
up!
Cutting very tall or wet grass, particularly at excessively high speed, can clog up the collector
channel. If this happens proceed as follows:
1. stop the forward movement, disconnect the blades, turn off the engine and secure it against
accidental starting, remove the collection basket.
2. Remove the accumulated grass from the ejection duct
TERMINATING WORK
- disconnect the blades, reduce the engine speed and raise the mowing as high as
possible before moving the machine.
- move the throttle lever to the "SLOW" position, stop the machine with the clutch /
brake pedal
- engage neutral, wait 20 seconds and turn the engine off by turning the key to the
"OFF" position
- apply the parking brake
C Don't leave the key in the "ON" position when the engine is not running. This
would discharge the battery unnecessarily

the machine.

or death. Always follow the procedures, safety precautions, recommended maintenance and
