ENGINE ADJUSTMENTS
CAUTION! A
Do not change in any way the rated speed of the engine (carburetor side or regulator
side).
Your engine was adjusted in the factory. If the motor settings is changed in any way, the warranty
will be cancelled. If additional adjustment is necessary (eg. for high altitude), contact authorized
service center!
CUTTING DECK ALIGNMENT
The front and rear edges of the mower deck should be at the same height.
1. Put the machine onto a flat firm surface and check the tyre pressures.
2. Place two and two pads under the front and rear edges of the mowing mechanism (fig. 39),
and lower the entire mechanism to the lowest position "1".
3. Using a key loosen adjusting nuts at the left front adjuster rod to decrease cutting deck, or
tighten adjusting nuts (to increase cutting deck) until the deck equal for all four blocks in
the same level.
• Contact a professional, preferably authorised service if:
- Mowing mechanism can not adjust at the same level as described
- Need to adjust the cutting height adjustment of individual positions
- The front part of cutting mechanism should not be always 5 - 7 mm lower than the rear.)
CHARGING THE BATTERY (PB)
To ensure long life of the battery, it must be maintained carefully.
• The battery must be recharged:
- before using the machine for the first time after purchase;
- before leaving the machine disused for a long period;
- during long-term storage approx. 1x per month;
- before starting up the machine after a long period of disuse.
• The discharged battery must be recharged as soon as possible.
• An unused battery loses capacity faster than a battery which is being used.
• Charge the battery pack in a dry place with room temperature at 5°C - 40°C.
• Use only chargers for lead-acid batteries that charge with the appropriate current (0.1C).
• It is possible that the battery and/or charger can become moderately warmer during
charging, this is normal and doesn‘t indicate a fault.
• Significantly reduced machine operating times and accelerated battery charging times
indicate that the battery has a reduced capacity and should be replaced.
• Once every 12 months, preferably at the start of the new season, replace the battery with
a new, identical type. (If the battery has already been in use at least once)
C Don‘t start the machine‘s motor if the battery is charging! If you charge the battery
without removing it from the machine, disconnect one of the battery terminals.
