Rear Brake Master Cylinder
Master Cylinder Removal
Cautions
 Do not let foreign materials enter into the
brake fluid reservoir.
 The whole set of master cylinder, piston,
spring, diaphragm and cir-clip should be
replaced as a set.
Handle left side – rear brake master cylinder.
Remove brake light switch coupler.
Drain out the brake fluid.
Remove the brake hose.
Remove the brake lever from the brake master
cylinder.
Remove the master cylinder socket bolts and the
master cylinder.
Right footrest side – rear brake master
cylinder
Place a container under the brake master
cylinder, remove fluid hose clamp, and drain out
the brake fluid.
Loosen the brake hose bolt and finally remove
the brake hose.
Remove the R-clip, and remove brake push rod
pin.
Remove the master cylinder hex-flange bolts and
the master cylinder.
