Operation
7.4.2.2 Inserting the down tube battery
 Place the down tube battery on the contacts in the
bottom battery mount.
 Tip the battery into the top mount as far as it will go.
 There is an audible clicking noise.
 Check the inserted battery to make sure it is firmly
in place.
7.4.3 Saddle tube battery

Before the battery is to be removed or inserted, switch
off the battery and the drive system.
7.4.3.1 Removing the saddle tube battery
 Open the battery lock with the key.
 Remove the key from the lock.
 Swivel the saddle tube battery to the side out of the
frame.
 Remove the saddle tube battery at the handle from
the frame.
7.4.3.2 Inserting the saddle tube battery
 Place the saddle tube battery at the handle into the
frame.
 Swivel the saddle tube battery into the frame.
 The lock of the saddle tube battery engages.
 Lock the saddle tube battery with the key.
 Remove the key from the lock.
