CAUTION
!!
Do not attempt to compensate for faults in
other systems by adjusting idle speed. Visit
your Authorised Distributor/Dealer for
scheduled carburetor adjustment.

NOTE
Always adjust the idle speed in i3s switch
“OFF” position.
CARBURETOR (IDLE SPEED)
The carburetor is factory preset in order to
achieve optimum performance and meet
emission standards.
However in case of specific requirement of
tuning due to engine stalling in idle speed,
please follow the instructions given here
under:
î Warm up the engine and park the
motorcycle on the main stand.
î Adjust idle speed with the throttle stop
screw (1).
IDLE SPEED: 1400 ± 100 RPM
î To adjust the free play, loosen the lock nut
(3). Turn the adjusting nut (4) to obtain the
specified free play.Tighten the lock nut and
check the adjustment.

CLUTCH
Clutch adjustment may be required if the
motorcycle stalls when shifting into gear or
tends to creep or if the clutch slips, causing
acceleration to lag behind engine speed.
Normal clutch lever free play (1) is 10- 20
mm at the lever (2).
