With the throttle closed, press the starter
switch.

While using starter switch:

With the throttle closed, operate the kick
starter with a rapid and continuous motion.
•
Do not use the choke.
•
Continue warming up the engine until it
runs smoothly and responds to the throttle,
when the choke knob is at “OFF” position
(B).
•
While using kick starter:
Warm engine
•
Rotate the throttle 1/8-1/4 turn (C).
•
Start the engine.
Cold engine
•
Pull the choke knob (5) out all the way to
fully “ON” position (A).
Review vehicle safety (page 4) before you
ride.
•
Make sure the throttle is closed and
the integrated brake is locked before
moving the vehicle off the main stand.
RUNNING-IN
Ensure your vehicle's future reliability and
performance by paying extra attention to how
you ride during the first 500 km.
During this period, avoid full-throttle starts
and rapid acceleration.
