• Do not use bulbs other than that specified.
Refer to the safety precautions (page 60).
•
Check the rear shock absorber by pushing
hard downwards on rear grip while the
vehicle is not parked on stand. The vehicle
action should be smooth and there should be
no oil leakage.
Wear clean gloves while replacing the bulb. If
you touch the bulb with your bare hands, clean
it with a cloth moistened with alcohol to
prevent its early failure.
• Be sure to turn the ignition switch “OFF”
when replacing the bulb.
• After installing a new bulb, check that the
lamp operates properly.
The bulb becomes very hot while the lamp is
“ON”, and remains hot for a while after it is
turned “OFF”. Be sure to let it cool down
before servicing.
BULB/LED REPLACEMENT
(a) Headlamp
• Remove the headlamp assembly (page
47).
•
Remove the screws (1) and remove the
headlamp LED unit (2).

Install a headlamp assembly in the reverse
order of removal.
(b) Position lamp assembly
•
Remove the front center cover (page 44).
•
Remove the screws (1) and remove the
position lamp assembly (2) from front center
cover.
