When the engine oil filter element replaced
always replace the oil seal with the new one.
•
Make sure that oil seal is properly seated.
•
Apply engine oil on engine oil filter element
before installation.
•
Inspect and replace engine oil filter element
as specified in the maintenance schedule.
NOTE
•
Drain the engine oil thoroughly (page 35).
•
isconnect the lutch able ( )D c c 2 .
•
Remove the side stand switch screw (1).

Remove the ick tarter edal ( ),k s p 3 muffler
(4), rider footrest assembly with side stand
(5) and right crankcase cover (6).
• Installation is in the reverse order of
removal.

Remove the engine oil filter element cover
(2) with oil seal (3).
•
Remove the engine oil filter element (4)
from the cover.
