10 Mounting and removing components
Wait at least 2 minutes after disconnecting the centrifuge from the mains, until
the intermediate circuit capacitors of the frequency converter are unloaded.
All components can be mounted and removed through the centrifuge chamber. For that
purpose the centrifuge chamber must be taken out, see chapter "Removing the
centrifuge chamber".
The supply board and the frequency converter are protected against humidity by a
plastic foil. After a replacement of the boards the plastic foil must be installed again
correctly, see Fig. 1.
Fig. 1
When replacing the frequency converter, make sure that there is sufficient heat
conduction paste between the frequency converter and the housing. If necessary,
scrape off the heat conduction paste from the old frequency converter and apply it on
the new frequency converter.
While mounting the rubber-metal bearings, make sure that there is an anti-twist device
on both sides of the bearing to prevent it from turning.
After exchange of the imbalance switch, the imbalance switch-off must checked as
described in chapter "Imbalance switch-off".
