6.7.2 Centrifugation with time preselection

Trained user
1. Set centrifugation parameters or retrieve a program.
2. Press the
[START/IMPULS]
button.
🡆 The centrifugation run is started.
The
[START]
button lights up during the centrifugation run.
The rotor speed or the RCF value, the temperature in the cen-
trifuging chamber (only for centrifuges with cooling) and the
remaining time are displayed during the centrifugation run.
3. Ramp-down takes place with the selected brake level after the time
has elapsed or if the centrifugation run is cancelled.
🡆 The brake level is displayed.
An audible signal sounds when the rotor comes to a standstill.
‘OPEN’
‘OEFFNEN’
is displayed.
The right side of the
[STOP/OPEN]
button lights up when the
centrifuge is in ramp-down.
The left side of the
[STOP/OPEN]
button lights up when the rotor is
at a standstill.
The light on the
[START/IMPULS]
button and the right side of the
[STOP/OPEN]
button go out.
6.7.3 Short-term centrifugation

1. Press and hold the
[START/IMPULS]
button.
🡆 The
[START/IMPULS]
button lights up during the centrifugation
run.
Timing starts at 00:00.
The rotor speed or the RCF value, the temperature in the centri-
fuging chamber (only for centrifuges with cooling) and the elapsed
time are displayed during the centrifugation run.
2. Release the
[START/IMPULSE]
button to end the centrifugation run.
🡆 Ramp-down takes place with the set brake level. The brake level is
displayed.
An audible signal sounds when the rotor comes to a standstill.
‘OPEN’

is displayed.
6.8 Quick stop function

button twice.
