4.3 Refund
There are two ways to process EFTPOS refunds on the HICAPS Terminal.
Option 1 – Matched Refund
Matched refunds ensure that the card number is matching and the refund cannot exceed
the value of the original transaction. HICAPS recommends processing matched refunds in
all cases as it ensures you are limiting your potential exposure to chargebacks.
