3.2 Installation to the Mounting Surface
Note: Many of the steps below can be done before going to the installation site.
1. Remove the reader from the backbox.
2. Mounting holes need to be drilled in the back plate to mate with the mount selected for the
site. Note: Basic holes are marked and labeled.
3. Drill the hole for the conduit, identified below.
Note: The conduit nut is intended to create an airtight and water tight seal to the outside
elements.
