Scale Operations
Standard on all Centrella™ beds, the built-in scale allows you to take a
patient’s weight while in the bed.
Not included in Zero and Weigh Processes:
• Headboard and any device mounted to the head-end of the bed
Included in Zero and Weigh Processes:
• Equipment and linen attached to any part of the bed that moves, including
the siderails, footboard and foot-end sockets.
NOTES:
• Scale only operates when connected to power. Last zero and the history of
last weight are maintained when the bed is not connected to power.
• The scale is very sensitive. Make sure the bed is not touching anything that
could affect the patient weight, such as a wall or furniture. Failure to do so
could cause an inaccurate reading.
