2.3 Connecting the Power Cord
• Before turning the instrument on, make sure the supply voltage matches that indi-
cated on the its power connector. Connection to an improper supply voltage may
damage the instrument and present an electrical hazard.
(Voltage fluctuations of ±10% from the rated supply voltage are taken into account.)
• To avoid electrical accidents and to maintain the safety specifications of this instru-
ment, connect the power cord provided only to a 3-contact (two- conductor +
ground) outlet.
Rear
1 Check that the instrument’s power switch is turned off.
2 Connect a power cord that matches the line voltage to
the power inlet on the instrument.
3 Plug the other end of the power cord into an outlet.
Turn off the power before disconnecting the power cord.
