2.4 Connecting the terminal blocks
Note: The supply voltage is connected to the device casing through
protective elements exclusively.
2.4.1 Supply voltage with the characteristic value C
You have the option of supplying the supply voltage redundantly, without
load distribution.
Both supply voltage inputs are uncoupled.
Remove the power connector from the device.
Connect the protective conductor with the clamp.
Connect the lines for the supply voltage to the + and - terminals.
WARNING
ELECTRIC SHOCK
Never insert pointed objects (narrow screwdrivers, wires, etc.)
– into the device or
– into the connection terminals for electric conductors or
– into the connection terminals for the signal conductors
Do not touch the connection terminals.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, serious injury,
or equipment damage.
