8. Slide the power supply into the bay until it clicks into place.
9. Make sure the -48 VDC power source is off or the PDU breaker is in the off position.
10. Connect the power cord to the -48 VDC power source or PDU.
Turn on the -48 V power source or switch the PDU breaker to the on position to supply -48 V to the
power supply.
11. Make sure that the power supply LED is green.

This equipment must be installed by trained service personnel, as defined by the NEC and IEC 60950-
1/IEC 62368-1, the standard for Safety of Information Technology Equipment.
Connect the equipment to a reliably grounded secondary circuit source. A secondary circuit has no direct
connection to a primary circuit and derives its power from a transformer, converter, or equivalent
isolation
device.
The overcurrent protection for the DC source must not exceed 45 A.
WARNING:
When installing a DC power supply, the ground wire must be connected before the positive or
negative leads.
WARNING:
Remove power from the power supply before performing any installation steps or maintenance
on the power supply.
