Main Features
Congratulations on your purchase of an
L200 Series Hitachi inverter! This inverter
drive features state-of-the-art circuitry and
components to provide high performance.
The housing footprint is exceptionally
small, given the size of the corresponding
motor. The Hitachi L200 product line
includes more than a dozen inverter models
to cover motor sizes from 1/4 horsepower to
10 horsepower, in either 240 VAC or 480
VAC power input versions. The main
features are:
• 200V and 400V Class inverters
• US or EU versions available (country-
specific input voltage range and default
values)
• Built-in RS-485 MODBUS RTU as
standard
• New current limit function
• Sixteen programmable speed levels
• PID control adjusts motor speed automatically to maintain a process variable value
The design in Hitachi inverters overcomes many of the traditional trade-offs between
speed, torque and efficiency. The performance characteristics are:
• High starting torque of 100% at 6Hz
• Continuous operation at 100% torque within a 1:10 speed range (6/60 Hz / 5/50 Hz)
without motor derating
