HOUSING GASKET
1)
Install a impeller gasket by aligning the cutout with the
boss
of
the water pump housing.
Replace the gasket with new one when the gasket
is
removed.
2)
Install the impeller cover by aligning the cutout with the
boss
of
the water pump housing.
3)
Apply marine grease to the inside
of
the impeller liner,
and install the impeller by turning it counterclockwise with
the open end
of
the key groove toward the bottom
of
the
motor. Align the holes
of
the impeller and pump liner.
