TIMING
BELT
Inspection
1)
Remove the engine cover.
2)
Remove the recoil starter
(P.
3-8).
3) Check the timing belt for wear or damage. Replace the
timing belt if it is worn or damaged.
4)
Check the timing belt and the related parts for oil and
grease. If contaminated with oil or grease, clean the parts
and replace the timing belt.
3) Hold the flywheel using the commercially available fly-
wheel holder and remove the flywheel nut.
