IGNITION CONTROL MODULE
REMOVAL
Remove the following:
-
engine cover
(P.
5-1).
-
left engine under cover
(P.
5-3).
-
neutral start cable
(P.
7-1).
-
recoil starter
(P.
7-2).
-
silencer cover
(P.
8-1).
Open the wire band clip and free the neutral switch wire
(Type with electric starter) and/or indicator wire (Tiller
handle type).
Remote control type only:Open the wire band clip and
free the main wire harness (connected
to
the control
box
wire harness).
Disconnect the engine control module connector.
Remove the two

x
25 mm flange bolts, and remove the
bracket and ignition control module.
