INSPECTION
NEUTRAL SWITCH
(Type
with electric starter)
Check for continuity between the terminals.
There should be continuity with the switch pushed (gearshift
in NEUTRAL).
There should be no continuity with the switch released
(gearshift in
FORWARD
or REVERSE).
INDICATOR (Tiller handle type)
The indicator should turn on when connecting a
12V
battery
(+)
terminal to the Orange terminal and
(-)
to the Black ter-
minal.
Be sure the battery is in good condition before performing
the test

INSTALLATION
Installation procedure is the reverse order of removal.
