Honda NU50 - Alternator Installation Procedure

ALTERNATOR INSTALLATION
Install a new gasket and install the stator in the
generator cover.

NUT
Install the woodruff key'in the t:rankshaft-keyway.
NOTe
Clean the taper hole in the fly .... -heel of any
burrs and din.
Install the flywheel onto the crankshaft.
Install the flywheel holder.
TorQue the flywheel 10 mm flange nut.
TORQUE: 36--40 N· m (3.5--4.0 kg-m, 25-29 ft·lbl

CLAMP
Perform the following procedure for the NU50M
alternator installation.
1. Inslall the starter motor.
2. Clamp the alternator wire and starter motor wire
on the starter motor body.
3. Install the rear fend!!f (page 12·3}.
