Section 4: The Galaxy Mk7 Keypad/KeyProx

General
The Galaxy Mk7 keypad/keyProx has the following features:
• a 2 x 16 alphanumeric character backlit display
• 16 backlit push buttons as shown in figure 4-1
• internal horn
• power indicator LED
• Lid tamper
• Off-wall tamper
• Address switch
• RS485 serial connector

Power Consumption
The Galaxy Mk 7 keypad/keyProx requires a 12 Vd.c. supply – from the control panel or a remote power
supply. The current consumption of the keypad/keyProx is:
