Paso 1: Retire las calcomanías protectoras redondas de color rojo de ambos lados de la unidad Might-
Evac.
Paso 3: Deslice la unidad hacia adelante hasta que los agujeros roscados del alojamiento (donde se reti-
raron las calcomanías) estén alineados on los de la parte frontal del soporte, como se muestra.
NOTA: El asa de acarreo de la unidad debe estar en posición levantada, lejos del soporte.
Introduzca el perno a través de la tuerca de seguridad, del separador y del agujero del soporte.
Apriete el perno a 8 ± 1 lb•pie (96 ±
12 lb•pulg / 11 ± 1.4 N•m). Repita la
operación en el lado opuesto.

Para protección anticaídas general,
conecte el conector extremo (es
decir, gancho de resorte) de la cuerda
salvavidas al anillo “D” posterior del
arnés de cuerpo entero.
La cuerda salvavidas autorretráctil Might-
nivel de la cabeza con el eslabón giratorio de
u otro conector de anclaje aprobado por
Miller, o debe usarse junto con un soporte
de montaje Miller el cual se instala después
en un trípode. El anclaje debe ser capaz de
soportar 22.2 kN (5,000 lb). Estudie todas
las advertencias e instrucciones al seleccio-
nar un lugar de montaje.

• Always use and inspect unit in accordance
with manufacturer’s instructions.
• Do not use as a restraint or positioning
device.
• Use only with attachment fittings and safety
harness recommended by manufacture r.
• Always connect the hook directly to
attachment point on harness.
• Guard against swing falls by keeping the
lifeline vertically overhead. Never work
above the device.
• Keep user and other workers from becoming
entangled in lifeline.
• Do not allow lifeline to drag over
obstructions.
• Never clamp off or stand on the lifeline.
• Do not allow the lifeline to become slack.
• Do not allow cable, rope or webbing
lifelines to come in contact with anythin g
that will damage the lifeline including, but
not limited to, sharp, abrasive, rough or
high-temperature surfaces, welding, he at
sources, electrical hazards, or moving
machinery.
• Wear gloves when inspecting or handling
cable lifelines.
• Check lifeline for damage, frays, or cuts that
will reduce the strength.
• Maintain tension on the lifeline while letting
it retract after disconnecting from wo rker.
• Servicing must only be performed by the
manufacturer or an approved agent.
