5.11.1 Cables and Wiring
9 Make the following wiring connections to the Isolated
RS232 Interface PCB:
i Ribbon cable at socket SK2 from the Base PCB
socket SK12 or SK13.
ii Use a screened multi-core cable (see 3.2.2 for
recommended types) to connect external third-party
equipment. The 0V SIG terminal should not be
connected to the screen. The screen should be
connected to the back box either through a suitable
metal gland or using the optional earth termination
block.
Note: Refer to Section 7, VDU for details of the Isolated
RS232 Interface PCB socket SK2 pin functions.
