3 User Levels
3.1 Level Definition
The FACP panel has four user Levels: Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4.
USER LEVEL 1 - The touch display is the primary indicator for the status of installation and provides detailed information about any current fire alarm, fault,
supervisory, test and disablement condition.
USER LEVEL 2 - A few system operation parameters and certain functions can be changed. You can enter the USER LEVEL 2 by entering the Level 2 passcode from
USER LEVEL 1.
USER LEVEL 3 - Full system configuration and programming are possible. USER LEVEL 3 is reached by entering the associated passcode from either USER LEVEL
1 or LEVEL 2. USER LEVEL 3 is intended for the system installer or maintenance contractor. There can be only one user with USER LEVEL 3 access
for a panel.
USER LEVEL 4 - The user with LEVEL 4 access can perform all the operations for USER LEVEL 1, 2, 3 and do the firmware update, manage users of Level 2, Level 3,
Level 4 and wipe the event log. The user with LEVEL 4 access is the master user. There can be only one user with the USER LEVEL 4 access for a
panel.
3.2 User Passcodes
1. Up to ten LEVEL 2 users and passcodes can be programmed into the panel.
2. The USER LEVEL 2 passcodes can be assigned or changed at LEVEL 3 or LEVEL 4 by the installer or the maintenance provider. Level 2 passcodes do not allow
access to Level 3 and Level 4 functions.
3. The USER LEVEL 3 passcode can be assigned or changed at LEVEL 4 by the Level 4 user. Level 3 passcode does not allow access to Level 4 functions.
4. The USER LEVEL 4 passcode can be changed at LEVEL 4 by the Level 4 user.
