4 Access Levels
The Access Levels for the FACP are:
ACCESS LEVEL 1: The panel’s outer door is closed and locked. The visual and audible indications can be seen and heard through the transparent outer door. The
manual call point on the outer door can be operated.
ACCESS LEVEL 2A: The panel’s outer door has been unlocked and opened. The different windows for indications on the LCD can be navigated. On the LCD, all the
devices in alarm and zones in alarm can be viewed. A firefighter can operate the Fire Brigade Panel and the front panel control keys. Authorized
personnel can operate the fire fan controls.
This level allows silencing of buzzer, silence/resound of all activated sounders, scrolling through multiple alarm events, reset of all alarm, fault
and supervisory conditions and disablement of all alarm zones.
ACCESS LEVEL 2B: The panel’s outer door has been unlocked and opened. A user LEVEL 2 passcode is required for a service technician to operate the LCD menu
for service, testing and maintenance.
This level allows testing of all audible and visual indicators, switching on/off delays, disable/re-enable zones, outputs and/or individual devices
as well as starting/cancelling the test mode for zones.
ACCESS LEVEL 3A: Requires Access Level 2A first, then the inner door needs to be opened with a large screwdriver or coin. The AC mains and/or batteries can be
connected/ disconnected.
ACCESS LEVEL 3B: Requires Access Level 2A first. A user LEVEL 3 passcode is required to enter the ‘Commissioning’ section of the LCD menu, to perform a full
system configuration and programming.
This level allows the configuration of delays to outputs, configuration for Type A (Alarm Verification Facility), Type B and Type C fire alarm
dependencies as also view the current configuration version number.
ACCESS LEVEL 4: Requires Access Level 3A first. A user LEVEL 4 (master) passcode is required to enter the ‘Administration’ section of the LCD menu. Then a
USB storage device containing the firmware files is required to perform the firmware update.

5.1 User Control Keys - Function Descriptions
Keys Descriptions
SILENCE BUZZER Press to acknowledge the event and silence the internal buzzer.
SILENCE / RESOUND ALARM Press to turn off ALL activated sounders. Press again to re-activate the sounders.
Scroll UP/DOWN Press to scroll through several alarm events.
RESET Press to reset all alarm, fault, and supervisory conditions.
DISABLE Press to disable alarm zones when panel is in alarm condition.
