Fertiliser motor
In the fertiliser motor menu you can choose
between an "electric" and a "hydraulic" fertiliser
motor.
Normally you should choose electric. Here the
same metering drive with electric motor is used
as for seed
For some special applications, e.g. in connection
with front hopper and auger metering, which
are driven hydraulically and controlled by a
proportional valve, you must switch over to
"hydraulic".
In the work screen the hydraulic drive is displayed
as auger metering instead of the electric current
consumption. Operation, calibration etc. are
identical with the electrical drive.
Control factor
The control factors inuence various parameters,
like the computer controls the electric drive
during acceleration load change, untrue running
of the metering shaft, jammed grains or when
the nominal quantity is reached.
Based on experience made in the past the
control factor should be set between 0.5 and 1.
For "normal" seeds hardly any dierence can
be noticed in use.
With grain which have e.g. a tendency to
jamming (beans) or which may cause any other
disturbances, a change to the lower area down
to 0.1 may be benecial.
Fertiliser reduction
In case of fertiliser reduction one can determine
whether solid and liquid fertiliser quantities
should be reduced by standard for tram lines.
