Connect all drive cables.
12. Install the air baffle (on page 19).
13. Install the access panel (on page 17).
14. Install the tower bezel ("Install the bezel" on page 16).
15. Connect each power cord to the server.
16. Connect each power cord to the power source.
17. Power up the server (on page 16).
Installing a hot-plug drive
CAUTION: To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server
unless all bays are populated with either a component or a blank.
To install the component:
1. Remove the tower bezel ("Remove the bezel" on page 17).
2. Remove the drive blank.
