Cartridge door and front cover assembly
NOTE: The cartridge door assembly includes the cartridge door, Tray 1, and the front cover.
1. Remove the following components:

Tray 2 cassette
●
Left cover. See
Left cover on page 13.
●
Scanner assembly. See
Scanner assembly on page 13.
●
Control panel. See
Control panel on page 15.
●
Right cover. See
Right cover on page 17.
2. Open the toner cartridge door and the rear jam access door.
3. Disconnect one connector (callout 1), and then disengage the cartridge-door assembly link arm
(callout 3) by releasing two tabs in the pivot joint (callout 2).
TIP: The link arm releases the fuser-pressure lever when the cartridge door is opened.
