Before removing the option board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 22).
2. Remove the access panel (see Access panel on page 23).
Remove the option board:
1. Remove the two Phillips screws (1) that secure the board to the system board.
2. Lift the option board to disengage it from the system board connector, and then remove the option
board (2) from the computer.
NOTE: Component appearance might vary.
To install the option board, reverse the removal procedure.
Heat sink
To remove the heat sink, use these procedures.
