Remove the drive cage backplane.
7. If you are removing the four-bay SFF drive backplane:
a. If an HP CS power supply is installed, remove the power supply distribution board ("HP 750 W CS
-48 V DC power supply enablement kit" on page 62).
b. Disconnect all cables from the drive cage.
c. Remove the drive cage backplane.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
Non-hot-plug drive cage bracket
To remove the component:
1. Power down the server (on page 28).
2. Remove the power from the server:
a. Disconnect the power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect the power cord from the server.
3. Remove the server from the rack (on page 30).
4. Remove the access panel ("Access panel" on page 35).
5. Remove the drive cage assembly.
