6. Click OK in the HP Network Configuration Utility Properties dialog box to apply the changes.
Team Proper ties page
The Team Properties page is displayed (see Figure 62) when the Properties tab is selected on the HP
Network Configuration Utilit y Properties dialog box. The Team Properties page is used to manage and
monitor all team-specific settings and consists of the following individual tabs.

g Controls—This tab is used to change the team name, select team type, select the Transmit

alancing algorithm, change port preference order for NFT with Preference teams, and to

n group membership for Dual Channel teams.
• Advanced Redundancy—This tab is only used when the server has a valid ProLiant Essentials
Intelligent Networking Pack (INP) license. It is used to manage Active Path, Fast Path, and monitor
Fast
Path por t cost and p ath cost.
• Discovery Protocol—Displays the Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP) options to enable or disable
CDPv1 and CDPv2. This feature is available with a valid INP license.
• Sett
ings—This tab is used to manually set the team’s Locally Administered Address (L A A) MAC
add
ress, manage heartbeat timers, and manage the team-level advanced property settings (for
exa
mple, max frame size, checksum offloading, Large Send Offload, and so on).
• VL AN— This tab is used for assigning a team to one or more VLANs. It is also used to manually
choose which V LANs to use for the default/native V LAN, VLAN for receive path validation
(heartbeats) , Active Path VLAN, and Fast Path VLAN (if PVST+ is selected for Fast path).
