HP Web Jetadmin
Integrating the HP We b Jetadmin (WJA) print management application to the HP Storage Server or
File Print Appliance M anagement Console is new. WJA is a web-based tool for remotely installing,
configuring, and managing a wide variety of HP and non-HP network peripherals using only a web
browser. It supports a modular design, whereby plug-ins can be installed to provide additional device,
language, and application functionality. WJA is not pre-installed on the storage server, but can be
installed (see "Web Jetadmin installation" on page 88)
HP Install Network Printer Wizard
The inclusi
on of the HP Install Network P rinter Wizard (IN PW) utilit y on the factory image is new. INPW
simplifies
the process of installing network printers, including configuration settings on the print server.
INPW ident
ifies HP Jetdirect network print devices and allows the user to select the printer to install on
the print server.
HP Download Manager for Jetdirect Print Devices
The inclusion of the HP Download Manager (DLM) for Jetdirect Printer Devices on the factory ima ge is
new. DLM is used to upgrade HP Jetdirect print server firmware on HP network p rinters. The utility
obtains the latest firmware ca talog from either from the Internet or from a co mputer with the download
firmware images already in place. The DLM discovers all or user-selected Jetdirect devices and upgrades
those based on the firmware catalog.
Mic rosoft Print Migrator Utility
The inclusion of the Microsoft Print Migrator utility on the factory image is new. The utility provides
complete printer configuration backup of the print server to a user-specified CAB file. Print Migrator
supports migration of print configuration data between different versions of Windows, and supports
conversion of line printer remote (LPR) ports to the Standard TCP/IP Port Monitor on Windows 2000,
Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003.
Network printer drivers
Updated print drivers for H P network p rinters are preinstalled on the storage server. If a Service Release
DVD has been run on the server, there are updated HP network print drivers in the C:\hpnas\PRINTERS
folder.

Print services information to plan, set up, man age, administer, and troubleshoot print ser vers and print
devicesareavailableonlineusingtheHelpandSupport Center feature. To ac cess the Help and Support
Center, select Star t > Help and Support,thenPrinters and Faxes under Help Contents.
