Installing the air baffle
The air baffle must be installed in one- and two-processor configurations.
CAUTION:
For proper cooling do not operate the server without the access panel, baffles, expansion slot covers, or
blanks installed. If the server supports hot-plug components, minimize the amount of time the access
panel is open.
Procedure
1. Install the air baffle.
2. Install the access panel (Installing the access panel on page 41).
3. Install the server into the rack (Installing the server into the rack on page 34).
4. Connect each power cord to the server.
5. Connect each power cord to the power source.
6. Power up the server (Powering up the server on page 38).
