9. Install the secondary PCIe riser cage.
10. Connect any required cables to the expansion board, if necessary.
11. Install the access panel (Installing the access panel on page 41).
12. Install the server into the rack (Installing the server into the rack on page 34).
13. Connect each power cord to the server.
14. Connect each power cord to the power source.
15. Power up the server (Powering up the server on page 38).
Installing a tertiary PCIe cage
CAUTION:
To prevent damage to the server or expansion boards, power down the server and remove all AC power
cords before removing or installing the PCI riser cage.
