Depending on the drive cage installed, the server supports the following drives:
Non-hot-plug LFF SATA drives
Hot-plug LFF SATA or SAS drives
Hot-plug SFF SATA or SAS drives
The server supports up to eight drives in the SFF configuration and four drives in the LFF configuration.
The embedded HPE Smart Array S100i SR Gen10 Controller supports SATA drive installation. For SAS drive installation, install a type-p
standup plug-in Smart Array controller option.
