a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
4. Extend the server from the rack (on page 33).
5. Remove the access panel (on page 31).
6. Remove the air baffle (on page 33).
7. Remove the fan cage (on page 36).
CAUTION: When routing cables, always be sure that the cables are not in a position where they
can be pinched or crimped.
8. Install the SID module into the front panel, and then secure the SID module to the chassis with the screws
from the kit.
9. Route and connect the SID module cable to the system board.
