6. Detach the connector board cable (14) from the top cover. (The connector board cable is attached to the 
top cover in two locations with double-sided adhesive.)
7. Remove the six Phillips M2.0 × 2.0 screws (1) that secure the system board to the top cover.
8. Remove the two Phillips M2.0 × 4.1 screws (2) that secure the system board to the top cover.
9. Lift the front edge of the system board (1) until it rests at an angle.
NOTE: When removing the system board, be sure that the infrared system board cable (2) routes cleanly 
through the opening in the system board.
NOTE: When removing the system board, be sure that the USB Typc-C connector (3) releases cleanly 
from the opening in the top cover.
