Setting up the workstation
Ensuring proper ventilation
Proper ventilation for the system is important for workstation operation. To be sure that there is adequate
ventilation:
●
Operate the workstation on a sturdy, level surface.
●
Provide at least 15.24 cm (6.00 in) of clearance at the front and back of the workstation. (This is the
minimum distance for all workstation models.)
●
Be sure that the ambient air temperature surrounding the workstation falls within the specied limits
(see Environmental specications on page 9).
●
For cabinet installation, ensure adequate cabinet ventilation and ensure that the ambient temperature
within the cabinet does not exceed specied limits.
●
Never restrict the incoming or outgoing airow of the workstation by blocking any vents or air intakes.
