Procedure
1. Back up all server data.
2. Power down the server.
3. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
4. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
5. Do one of the following:
• Server in rack mode:
Remove the server from the rack.
• Server in tower mode:
Position the tower server for hardware configuration.
6. Remove the access panel.
7.
Remove the PCI air baîš‚le.
8.
Remove the system air baîš‚le.
9.
Remove the energy pack holder slot covers.
10. Install the energy pack holder.
