Make sure that the SAS expander card is firmly seated in the slot.
12. Install the Smart Array controller in slot 3.

Connect the 876502-001 Mini-SAS X-cable to the controller.
14.
Connect the following Mini-SAS X-cables to the drive backplanes:
• P12820-001 Mini-SAS X-cable = Drive box backplane 1
• 876483-001 Mini-SAS X-cable = Drive box backplane 2
15.
Close the PCI slot retainer.
16. Install the system air baîš‚le.
17.
Install the PCI air baîš‚le.
18. Install the access panel.
19. Do one of the following:
