Before you perform this procedure, make sure that you have a T-15 Torx screwdriver available.

In this procedure, left and right terminology is from the perspective of a user facing the front of the rack.
ProcedureProcedure
1. Power down the server.
2. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
3. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
4. If the server is in tower mode, place the server on a flat, level surface with the access panel facing up .
5. Remove the chassis feet:
a. Loosen the screws on the chassis.
b. Detach the chassis feet.
6. Install the rack rails and server tray.
7. Install the server into the rack.
8. Install the cable management arm .
