7. If a storage controller with internal ports and cables is installed in slot 1, do the following:
a. Do one of the following:
• Remove the secondary PCI riser blank.
• Remove the secondary PCI riser cage.
b. Remove the primary PCI riser cage.
c. Remove the storage controller.
d. If you intend to leave slot 1 empty, install an expansion slot cover to prevent improper cooling and
thermal damage.
