• If HPE Persistent Memory modules are encrypted with local key management, either manually enter
the HPE Persistent Memory module passwords in the System Utilities or import the password file from
the USB key.
• If HPE Persistent Memory modules are encrypted with remote key management, enroll the compute
module iLO in the key management server to provide access to the data on the HPE Persistent
Memory modules.
Re-entering the server serial number and product ID
After you replace the system board, the compute module serial number and the product ID must be
configured:
Procedure
1. Access the server console through HPE OneView.
2. Power up the compute module.
3. During POST, press F9 to access System Utilities.
4. On the System Utilities home screen, select System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration
(RBSU) > Advanced Options > Advanced Service Options.
5. Select the Serial Number field and press Enter.
The following alert appears:
The serial number is modified by qualified service personnel and must match
the serial number located on the chassis.
6. Click OK.
7. Type the serial number and press Enter.
8. Select the Product ID field and press Enter.
The following alert appears:
Product ID is modified only by qualified personnel. This value must match the
product ID located on the chassis.
9. Type the product ID and press Enter.
10. Press F10 to save the configuration.
11. After the compute module resets and goes through POST, power down the compute module .
The procedure is complete.
Unassigning a server profile using HPE OneView
Procedure
1. From the HPE OneView main menu, select Server Profiles.
2. In the master profile, select the profile to unassign.
3. Select Actions > Edit.
