To avoid electric shock, do not connect power cables while the power is on.
NOTICE
Do not power on a router before you finish installing the router and connecting cables.
The power cable length must be shorter than or equal to 3 m. Table 5-2 lists the required
specifications of the power cables.

Procedure
Step 1 Verify that the router is reliably grounded.
Step 2 Wear an ESD wrist strap. Ensure that the ESD wrist strap is grounded and in a close contact
with your wrist.
Step 3 Assemble the 2-pin DC power cables.
NOTE
l Two cables are connected to the 2-pin terminal block in the same way. The following procedure uses
one cable as an example.
l Insert the two cables into the 2-pin terminal block, with the RTN (+) cable in the left hole and the
NEG (-) cable in the right hole.
